Plient in Action! Circle Concrete Tech Hosts Successful Demonstration of Plient Fibers

Circle Concrete Tech, Inc., held a successful Plient showcase event on May 1, 2025, at the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) at Texas A&M. Around 30 professionals from the concrete industry – including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives – attended the event, which was supported by Texas State University, Texas A&M’s engineering and architecture colleges, CIR, and the CREATE UTC leadership.

The event featured a live demonstration of Circle’s prototype novel fiber D3 system, which precisely detangles, depollutes, and doses Plient fibers directly into ready mix concrete (RMC) trucks. Participants watched as Plient fibers were added to several RMC trucks before seeing the Plient reinforced concrete used to construct prototype flooring and pavement sections. The Plient concrete was placed and finished using conventional equipment and practices. This included pumping the concrete for the flooring section using a conventional boom pump truck.

This showcase was a major success for Circle Concrete Tech as Plient fibers were shown to be easily added to the fibers using the D3 system and used in conventional construction practice. Participants were able to engage with the Circle team to learn how Plient fibers can be used for their projects. Circle would like to thank all those who came to the event and made it a success!
